Notification Service setup

To start you should have MS SQL 2005 and Notification Services installed and IIS with SMPT

Open files and copy and rename sub NSPing-files to c:NSPing

open NSLime.ssmssqlproj with MS SQL 2005 Server Management Studio and connect to your SQL server

Select and right click on NS, select New Notification Services Instance..
Browse to c:NSPing and select NSLimeICF.xml

Tick the “Enable Instance after it is created” box and press OK
When the Instance is created press Close

In MS SQL 2005 Server Management Studio, in Notification Services there will be NSping object
Right Click and under Taskes select Register..

Tick the “Create windows service” box
In Service Login select an Administrator account, and password, then tick OK
Once it has Registered the Instance, click Close

In MS SQL 2005 Server Management Studio, in Notification Services Right Click  NSping object, press start
Once the windows service has started press Close

In C:NSPingNSLimeInvoices
double click AddSubscribers1.vbs when “Subscriptions successfully added”
double click AddSubscriptions1.vbs when “Subscriptions successfully added”

In MS SQL 2005 Server Management Studio in the Solution EXplorer window under Queries
double click senddata.sql and excute
double click ViewNotifications.sql and see the details of the emails sent
